Field of Dreams Moving West

The Town of Devon is proposing the relocation of the Field of Dreams, Devon’s south ball diamonds this fall to make room for future commercial/industrial growth on the land at the corner of HWY 19 and 60. The proposed plan will see the ball diamonds moved west of HWY 60 to a parcel of Town-owned land.

To accommodate Devon’s ball diamonds users, the Field of Dreams will remain open until the end of the 2020 season. The new ball diamonds are expected to be complete for the 2021 season.

Bringing development to Devon continues to be a priority of Council and the lands the Field of Dreams currently occupies is one of the most viable places to bring commercial/industrial growth due to its proximity to Highway 19, Highway 60 and the Devon Business Park. With your support, we can make this relocation process as well-planned and efficient as possible so we are ready to play all in the new location in 2021!
