Canadian Energy Museum

Showcasing Canada's oil industry

Located two km south of Devon on Highway 60. This facility was built to showcase Canada's Oil Industry to the world. The Centre contains artifacts; photos, scale models, and colorful stories, all designed to give the viewing public a taste of what it was like to be a part of our oil history.

Clifford E. Lee Sanctuary

A beautiful nature preserve

Located 5 mins north of Devon on Hwy 60, this 300-acre nature preserve contains marshes, meadows, pine and aspen woodland that is open to the public year-round. Established natural paths, boardwalks, provide numerous viewing points showcasing a variety of flora and fauna.

Devon Golf and Conference Center

Nestled along the scenic river valley

Devon Golf & Conference Centre. This fast, 18 hole course is nestled along the scenic river valley. Golfers who visit Devon will find tree-lined fairways that gently follow the natural contours of the river providing a challenge for all levels of golfer. End your day on the patio with a meal and a beverage at The Greens Restaurant. Meeting facilities can accommodate groups from 10 to 240 with a wide range of audio and visual systems.

Devon Historical Museum

Experience Devon's history

History buffs will marvel at the rare and unique items on display. The Devon Historical Society incorporated on March 2016, opening its doors to a historical museum dedicated to showcasing historic items that speak to the history of growing up in Devon over the years. Their goal is to preserve and display Devon’s history with numerous displays featuring old photos, uniforms, and sports equipment and a rare silver collection. Free admission!

Devon Lions Campground

A weekend paradise

Lions Campground sees over 40,000 visitors annually, with over 200 sites to accommodate all manner of campers. From tents to sprawling fifth-wheel units, this campground gives you the best of both worlds while you connect with the stunning charms of the river valley landscape. The campground includes a laundromat and free showers. For larger gatherings, the campground also has three facilities for rent, for groups of 40 to 125 people. If you’re looking for a unique spot for your company barbeque, family reunion or even a wedding, they can accommodate your request. Reserve your spot early!

Rabbit Hill Snow Resort

A popular winter destination

Greater Edmonton's largest and most popular resort. Scenically located 10 minutes east of Devon and 20 minutes southwest of Edmonton in the North Saskatchewan River Valley. Triple chairlift, T-bars, rope tows and extensive snowmaking and grooming equipment make this a very popular winter destination.

Riverview Mountain Bike Skills Park

Opportunities for riders of all ages

Designed by mountain bike park builder extraordinaire, Jay Hoots, this park is a welcome mat to mountain biking. The park offers opportunities for riders of all ages on all types of bikes to learn and practice bike handling in a planned, safe, natural environment. The park features include a large wooden skills area, pump track and a series of dirt jumps which range from beginner to advanced levels.

Shalom Park

One of the top water ski facilities in the world

Located 10 minutes east of Devon. Recognized as one of the top ten water ski facilities in the world. This picturesque lake provides ideal conditions for skiers of any level.

University of Alberta Botanic Garden

Alberta's largest botanic garden

Located five km north of Devon and 23 km west of Edmonton on Highway 60, the U of A Botanic Garden Includes an authentic Japanese garden, attractive floral gardens, collections of native and alpine plants and ecological reserves situated within an attractive rolling landscape of pine trees, and large ponds.
